Why Pakistan Air Force (PAF)?
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Tasked with the aerial defense of Pakistan, the PAF is one of the most elite and technologically advanced institutions in the country.
For Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineers, PAF is arguably the most relevant and prestigious organization in Pakistan. It actively recruits top-tier talent for its elite Aeronautical Engineering branch, Avionics, Electrical/Electronics, IT, and General Duty Pilot (GDP) programs.
Registration Currently Closed
Registration periods are not open continuously. For example, the recent 108 Aeronautical Engineering Course registration concluded on August 3, 2026. You must wait for the next official recruitment cycle to open.
403 Forbidden Error Fix
If you encounter a "403 Forbidden: Invalid referer" error, do NOT bypass security or use fake sites. To fix it: Open a new Incognito window, type joinpaf.gov.pk manually (do not click direct Google links to sub-pages), clear cookies, or use Microsoft Edge.
Step-by-Step Recruitment Process
When a recruitment cycle officially opens, follow these 10 structured steps to apply securely:
Step 1 — Open the official PAF recruitment portal
Go directly to the secure Join PAF portal (link provided at the bottom). Warning: Never enter your CNIC on third-party websites claiming to be PAF.
Step 2 — Check current recruitment
Look for the latest Online Registration or Join PAF advertisement. Available options change depending on the specific recruitment cycle.
Step 3 — Select the entry that matches you
Depending on your qualifications, you may see elite options such as: GD(P) General Duty Pilot, Aeronautical Engineering, Air Defence, Education Branch, Administration & Special Duties, IT / Engineering branches, or Airmen.
Step 4 — Read the strict eligibility criteria
Check carefully: Age, Gender, Nationality, Educational qualification, Marks/grades, Height, Physical requirements, Medical requirements, and Marital status.
Step 5 — Register online
Click Apply Online / Registration and enter your information. You will need: CNIC/B-Form, Date of birth, Contact details, Educational information, Domicile details, and a Recent photograph.
Step 6 — Select your desired branch
Choose the appropriate branch. For an Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering graduate, pay particular attention to the Aeronautical Engineering and technical officer entries.
Step 7 — Submit your application
Review all entered information meticulously for errors and submit the online registration.
Step 8 — Save your registration information
Safely save or print your registration number, application details, and test scheduling information.
Step 9 — Take the initial test
The rigorous initial selection process includes: Intelligence test, Academic test, Initial interview, Physical test, Initial Medical examination, and Psychological assessment.
Step 10 — Complete the remaining selection stages (ISSB)
If you pass the initial stages, you will proceed to the next stages, which often conclude with multi-day evaluations at the ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board).
