Recruitment Details
Why Pakistan Navy (PN)?
The Pakistan Navy is the naval warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces. It maintains the defense of Pakistan's sea borders and secures vital maritime interests in the Arabian Sea.
For Engineering Graduates, the Pakistan Navy offers an exceptionally robust technical career path. Through their Short Service Commission (SSC), they regularly recruit top talent across Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Weapon Engineering, IT/Computer Engineering, and Marine Engineering to maintain their sophisticated fleet of frigates, submarines, and naval aviation assets.
Verify Current Deadlines
Be extremely careful with old recruitment dates. For example, recent SSC 2026-B registration ran from May 10βJune 14, 2026, and Sailor B-2026(S) concluded on July 5, 2026. Those deadlines have passed. You must wait for the next official cycle to open.
SSC For Engineers
Engineering graduates should specifically target the Short Service Commission (SSC). Recent SSC drives specifically targeted Mechanical, Weapon, and Ordnance engineers. Do not automatically default to the standard PN Cadet route if you are already a degreed professional.
