Recruitment Details
Why Punjab Police?
Punjab Police is the largest provincial police force in Pakistan, responsible for law enforcement and maintaining public order across Punjab — Pakistan's most populous province.
Punjab Police conducts massive recruitment drives, hiring thousands of officers at a time. For officer-level posts (ASI, SI, DSP), the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is frequently the recruitment and testing authority, while Constable and lower-rank recruitment may follow a different process entirely.
PPSC for Officer Posts
For many officer-level positions (ASI, SI, DSP), you must apply through the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) at ppsc.gop.pk. PPSC conducts the written test, and you must pay their application fee.
Not All Posts Use PPSC
Do not assume that every Punjab Police vacancy is applied for through PPSC. Constable and some other recruitment campaigns can use a completely different recruitment process or portal. Always follow the specific official advertisement.
